Today, Gabriel and I went for a walk and I remembered to bring my phone/camera...so here is a little "tour" of the outer property surrounding our home.
This is some of the interesting plant life growing around the property. I'm thinking fungi education is called for here...but thankfully in this case, Gabriel does not LIKE mushrooms...so the temptation to EAT will be eliminated from the equation.
We walked up the path along the house to visit the horses in the back pasture...
Here is the field with the "ladies"
We are learning their names, but they are Icelandic...so I need to look up the proper spelling.
The foal is Isabelle and the dark horse is her mother, Frigg
Some of the scenery on the walk...and this walk covers less than 5 of the 45 acres that "Farmer John" owns.
Time to head back the way we came. Quick! Through the picturesque trees!
